Gary and I have been trying to eat better and increase the protein in our meals. I was already set to make chicken for dinner tonight, but wanted a side dish that was a little more exciting than plain brown rice.
I found a recipe on
allrecipes.com for "Nutty Brown Rice Salad" and realized how easy it would be to tweak with a Tastefully Simple spin and for my family's tastes, too!

Cook rice in Rice Cooker - Super fast and easy!

Add ingredients to brown rice...Gary's favorite was the crunch of the almonds

Toss the salad with the Roasted Garlic Infused Oil and season with Seasoned Salt & Pepper |
