April Fool's Day came and went.  It was fairly uneventful, but I wanted to do a little something for the kids.  So I found a simple idea that was a big hit!

I found the original recipe on Tasteofhome.com.  I used Tastefully Simple's Tropical Pound Cake instead of the Absolutely Almond Pound Cake, because that was what I had!  I baked the cake in 4 mini loaf pans to give the look of a "sub" roll.  

Once the cakes were baked, it came together very easily in about 5 minutes!  I was on my way out the door for Zumba, so I quickly put it together!

Evelyn even got in on the action by enjoying one of the leftover meatballs.  I think she likes ice cream!
